We engaged ASJ to manage the replacement of a section of curtain wall to the Chatham Apartment Building. The team at ASJ were instrumental in the delivery of a successful project, which was further complicated by COVID shutdowns. A high level of communication and coordination was essential for the project. We enjoyed working with ASJ and are appreciative of the efforts put in by the team in managing such a challenging and complex project and for the innovation and leadership it provided throughout the project. ASJ have been the Engineer to Contract and Project Managers for our current Trusts Stadium project. The project is challenging in its complexities. It is a very high use public stadium facility with the extensive detailed re-clad and structural works required, while keeping the facility open. We have found ASJ most professional in dealing with the client and “hands on” with us in terms of resolving issues that may arise from technical details, through to dealing with last minute scheduling and program changes around large last minute events. I highly recommend the ASJ team for other projects, particularly complex projects in public building spaces going forward.
I am an owner of three apartments in a fifteen unit complex. The Body Corporate discovered some building defects a few years ago which have resulted in a requirement for reclad and other remedial works. ASJ are the Property Consultancy which we employed to project manage the required works. They impressed from the start and were the obvious choice at tender stage. They have proved to be a hardworking and able practice employing well qualified and proactive staff. This has meant that the selection of the main contractor was a thorough and well managed process and owners have the assurance to know that the project and the main contractor is being well managed. CeaseFire were engaged to aid Hawkins with a large New Zealand infrastructure project currently under construction. The project is the construction of a large new building that is unique in terms of its design and end purpose, which has presented many design challenges to date. Brent and the team at CeaseFire were involved to help solve the many complexities faced with the passive fire aspects of the build. Due to time restraints they’ve had to hit the ground running to meet the project’s deadlines.
